We deliver the specialist underground water and utility scope on civils schemes. That covers live-network work (leak detection, flow metering, PRV installation, under-pressure drilling, line stopping, valve and hydrant work) and new-infrastructure work (main laying, new connections, chlorination, pressure testing, and handover to adoption standard). We self-deliver the full scope with our own crews, plant, and accreditations. Named clients include PodTrak, IWS, Balfour Beatty, and Skanska.

For civils procurement the relevant stack is WIRS (self-lay water, via Lloyd’s Register), WIAPS (Water Industry Approved Plumbers Scheme), NRSWA accreditation for street works, Constructionline Gold, Achilles ID 00019964, CHAS, ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001, EUSR, and Cyber Essentials. Our field teams carry CSCS cards, and we operate a CDM 2015 and CIS-compliant delivery model.

Standard handover pack covers as-built drawings, chlorination and pressure test certificates, valve and hydrant records, method statement and risk assessment sign-offs, and NRSWA reinstatement records where applicable. On WIRS and water company-adopted schemes, the pack aligns with the water company’s adoption requirements so the main contractor can close out utility scope cleanly.

Yes. We run 24/7 standby crews for emergency burst mains, line stopping, and reactive utility work. Our fastest mobilisation is within a few hours for work in our six-county patch. On larger planned schemes we can integrate into the main civils programme for phased delivery.

From a single flow meter install or a targeted PRV replacement, up to multi-phase main laying, network reinforcement, or multi-kilometre utility works programmes. Most of our civils-sub work sits between a single specialist job and a multi-week specialist package. For larger schemes we scale crews and plant to match programme requirements.

Yes. Every scheme starts with a site-specific method statement and risk assessment. We produce these in-house, provide them in advance of mobilisation, and update them as scope changes. All work is delivered under CDM 2015 requirements, with evidence provided for the main contractor’s construction phase plan. Our site supervisors are SSSTS or SMSTS qualified where the role requires it.

Yes. Our accreditation stack (WIRS, WIAPS, NRSWA, Constructionline Gold, Achilles, ISO triple, CHAS, Cyber Essentials) is built around Tier 1 procurement requirements. We hold our own insurance, carry our own plant, deliver full scope with our own teams, and integrate cleanly into main contractor reporting and valuation processes. Named Tier 1 clients include Balfour Beatty and Skanska.

Our operatives are NRSWA accredited for all excavation and reinstatement work in the public highway. We work with whichever permitting arrangement the main contractor has in place, from handling street works notices on our own streetworks licence where appropriate, through to operating under the main contractor’s permit and reinstating to their specification.

Hertfordshire, London, Surrey, Essex, Cambridgeshire, and Berkshire as standard, from our Hertfordshire depot and operational bases at Heathrow, Rickmansworth, and Staines. For larger schemes and Tier 1 framework delivery we travel further across the South East and nationally.
