Every tarmac job runs the same four phases, whether it's a single patch repair or a full resurfacing scheme. What changes is the scale, the crew, and the plant on site. The method doesn't.

Site visit and quote

A walk of the site, a look at what's there and what's needed, and a quote back quickly. For patch work and small jobs this often runs in a day. Larger schemes get a proper method statement and programme.

Preparation and prep work

The preparation phase sets up whether the final surface lasts or fails. Cutting back existing surface, tacking edges, clearing debris, and levelling the sub-base as needed. Done properly, not rushed.

Laying the tarmac

Hand-lay or machine-lay depending on the scope. Material arrives at the right temperature for hot tarmac, or the right mix for cold lay. Laid to specification thickness, compacted to spec, edges finished properly.

Finishing and sign-off

Line painting, anti-skid application, or coloured surface treatment if specified. Final inspection, photos for the client's records, and the site handed back open.
