Yes. Onsite covers the infrastructure within your development boundary. Offsite covers the mains extension outside the site to connect to the existing water network. We handle both, including all highway works and reinstatement.

Usually, yes. Self-lay is typically cheaper than letting the water company do the work, though the exact saving depends on the scale of the scheme and the water company’s own rates. Each job is priced transparently, so the quote can be compared against the water company’s direct quote side by side.
With the water company direct, they design and install the infrastructure on their own schedule, with their own subcontractors. With a self-lay provider, an accredited contractor does the same work to the same standards, scheduled around the project programme. The water company still inspects and adopts the pipes at the end, so the finished infrastructure is identical. What changes is the cost, the timeline, and who holds the contract.
