The job
Affinity Water called us to a burst on a 30 inch water main in Feltham. A main at that diameter sits in trunk-main territory. Failures at that scale affect supply across a wide area, lose a lot of water fast, and bring real pressure on the response window. The job was raised under the Affinity R&M framework and Dan and Seb led the repair.

The burst section was excavated, the damage identified, and the repair made. The main was returned to normal supply on completion.
